Term 1 College League

The College League will run on Thursday afternoons for seven weeks, from February 20 to April 2. The entry fee for Term 1 is $800 per team, covering all player entry costs.

The league will feature three divisions:

• A Grade: Boys or mixed teams
• B Grade: Boys or mixed teams (junior teams may be accommodated, but priority will go to senior teams)
• Girls Grade: Girls-only teams.

Information

• Games at Baywave will be scheduled in 35-minute slots between 3:55 PM and 8:35 PM. 
• As Baywave is limited to hosting 16 teams, if more than 16 teams register, some games may need to be moved to Toi Ohomai.
• Priority for the Baywave venue will be given to teams preparing for NISS and NZSS competitions. If games are played at Toi Ohomai, we will partially refund the team entry fee, as costs at Toi Ohomai are lower.
• We encourage schools to offer water polo opportunities to all students in Years 9-13 during Term 1. While the term’s primary focus is on senior teams preparing for NISS and NZSS competitions, many schools include younger players in their Term 1 College League teams. 
• If you have a junior team to register or junior players interested in participating but lacking a team, please let us know. We’ll do our best to create opportunities for them to play.
